Amid Natalie Maines’ divorce, Dixie Chicks movie hits Miami for one night only

Dixies Chicks fans: Be there on Aug. 7 or be square.

The Grammy winning band is coming to U.S. movie theaters, including a handful in South Florida, for an exclusive one-night music event this summer.

Relive the country pop group’s sold-out tour with “Dixie Chicks – DCX MMXVI – In Concert,”  which was taped live and features a full set of hits, such as “Wide Open Spaces,” “Goodbye Earl,” and “Not Ready to Make Nice.”

Tickets for “Dixie Chicks – DCX MMXVI – In Concert” can be purchased online by visiting

This promises to be a fantastic concert event from one of the world’s most popular groups,” producer Fathom Events CEO John Rubey said. “DCX MMXVI was the first time in 10 years that the Dixie Chicks have had a headline tour in the U.S. and it sold out at numerous venues. We are thrilled that we are able to offer this in cinema concert to the die-hard fans and those who weren’t able to see them on tour.”

Interesting timing. Lead singer Natalie Maines — who vehemently bashes President Trump — just filed for divorce from actor hubby of 17 years Adrian Pasdar.

The exes first met at bandmate Emily Robison’s wedding, where Maines was a bridesmaid and Pasdar was a groomsman.

There was no hint on social media about the split. Maines only tweeted about her hatred of Trump. Pasdar isn’t on social media, bless his heart.
