How much do you need a perfect socially distanced vacation in the Keys?

Cheeca Lodge & Spa suspects you need it pretty badly. And Cheeca Lodge is right.

The luxury resort, set on 27 acres in Islamorada in the Florida Keys, has added 10 private villas called The Casitas, where for a hefty price you can experience as much solitude and safety as you like.

Of course you are welcome to bring your significant other and/or kids. Or not. We won’t tell. But there’s room: The Casitas are one- or two-bedroom villas, with 750 to 2,100 square feet of space and a view of the resort or the ocean. There are porches for lounging and kitchens for cooking, plus rain showers and soaking tubs in the bathroom.

Best of all, there’s a private beach for lying around doing nothing. If you want to do something, you can check out the pool or the tennis courts. Guests also have access to Cheeca Lodge’s signature amenities, such as a golf course, an oceanfront pool, two Tiki Bars, three restaurants and Camp Cheeca for kids. And just in case you thought that you wouldn’t be pampered enough, there’s also butler service.

No, we can’t all afford to get away like this. But we can dream.

The Casitas at Cheeca Lodge start at $1,099 per night; visit www.cheeca.com or call 844-993-9713 to check availability.
