The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield is opening a new exhibit on the 16th president this weekend. Undying Words: Lincoln 1868-1865 includes a handwritten copy of the Gettysburg Address, signed copies of the 13th amendment ending slavery and the Emancipation Proclamation, as well as the bed where Lincoln died after being shot at Ford’s Theater. The exhibit was timed to mark the museum’s 10th anniversary and the 150th anniversary of Lincoln’s death.
