New York: Our eye on the sky
The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in Manhattan has opened HUBBLE@25, an exhibition commemorating the 25th anniversary of the launch of NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope. The exhibit marks the first major exhibition the Museum’s Space Shuttle Pavilion, home to the space shuttle Enterprise. Through Hubble produced images, rarely seen artifacts, tools used in space to repair the telescope and interactive guests experiences, HUBBLE@25 introduces the public to the history of the telescope and the scientific achievements generated by the Hubble program. The exhibit will be on display through Sept. 14, 2015.
