Ohio: Could be groovy
An exhibit chronicling Paul Simon’s career has just opened at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland. Paul Simon: Words & Music features a first-person narrative from Simon — a first for the museum — and showcases more than 80 artifacts, including Simon’s first acoustic guitar, Simon & Garfunkel’s original recording contract, handwritten lyrics for The Boxer and a letter Simon wrote as a teen from summer camp to Art Garfunkel. Simon was inducted into the Rock Hall as a solo artist and as half of Simon & Garfunkel. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the duo’s debut album, Wednesday Morning, 3 AM.
