Visitors to Dubai can now get an even more elevated view of the Middle Eastern city from a new observation deck on the 148th floor of the Burj Khalifa skyscraper. That is 1,821 feet above street level, making it the world’s highest observation deck, according to Guinness World Records. To get there, visitors have to change elevators on the 125th floor. Earlier, tourists could go only to a still-operational observation deck on the 124th floor. Almost 1.9 million visitors did so last year. The higher views come with steeper prices: Pre-booked tickets to the new deck cost the equivalent of $109, or $136 for immediate entry.
