For travelers ready to live out their Miley Cyrus era, hopping off the plane at LAX and heading to the land of “fame excess,” a new nonstop route will take off this fall from Broward County.

United Airlines is expanding its West Coast reach from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport with new service to Los Angeles.

The Chicago-based carrier will operate the route with the airline’s Boeing 737 Max 9 aircraft, which seats 179 passengers, according to aviation website Simple Flying.
