As another closes and a new one is about to begin, the “most magical place on earth” is again handing out some New Year’s gifts you want to miss.
Dreading spending New Year’s Eve at home or going to party you’d rather not be at? Head over to Disney Parks Blog to catch a live stream of Magic Kingdom’s fireworks show, “Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks,” which is one of the best New Year’s fireworks shows around.
The stream starts at around 11:45 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and can be seen by going to www.disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/.
The fun doesn’t end there. For the third year in a row, Disney is selling tickets for a surprisingly low price to Florida residents.
Starting Jan. 2, Florida residents can buy a three-day Discover Disney ticket for $175 ($59 per day), which admits one to one Disney World theme park per day, any day through June 30.
Florida residents can also buy a four-day option for $195 ($49 per day).
For comparison, a one-day Disney World ticket in January 2020 will run you anywhere from $112 to $139. A three-day ticket comes in between $75 and $90 per day. A four-day ticket is will cost $61 to $70.
