Art on view: Origami sculptures in Santa Fe
▪ The Turquoise Trail Sculpture Garden outside Santa Fe has opened an exhibition of more than 20 giant outdoor sculptures that celebrate the art of origami.
Each stainless steel sculpture is inspired by a blank piece of paper that has been folded into an animal or other shape and tells the story of creativity and the art of making something out of nothing. The collection was created by Kevin Box and includes works by him and other artists.
Origami in the Garden, which is on display by Box’s home, runs through Oct. 24. It will be coming to Florida later, but organizers have not announced when or where.
