Aqua Drag Racer now open at Wet ‘n Wild water park

Wet ‘n Wild has introduced its newest water slide, Aqua Drag Racer. On the attraction, visitors go head-first on a mat, navigating through a twisting tube and riding down side-by-side lanes to splashdown.

At six stories, it’s the tallest mat slide in Florida, water park executives say. You might call it steep ‘n scary.

Wet ‘n Wild water park is affiliated with Universal Orlando.

WHEN: Operating hours through Aug. 16 are 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
