The Good

Five Guys Burgers and Fries, 5701 N. University Dr., Tamarac. Inspected on July 28; zero violations.

The Bad

Hong Kong Kitchen, 3296 S. University Dr., Miramar. Inspected on Aug. 6. Inspector’s notes: “Approximately 12 open roach sacks by the stove area. Dead roaches on premises.”

The Ugly

Manolo, 685 Washington Ave., Miami Beach. Inspected on July 31; 41 violations, including eight high-priority. Inspector’s notes: “Approximately 20 live roaches found inside kitchen. Observed live roaches crawling over clean dishes, crawling on walls and inside reach-in cooler gaskets.” Issued an emergency order to close; reopened on same day after a follow-up inspection.
