The restaurant: Palme d’Or, 1200 Anastasia Ave., Coral Gables; biltmorehotel.com. The Biltmore’s signature, award-winning French restaurant delivers the very best in food and service. Executive chef Gregory Pugin recently unveiled new summer tasting menus that span four, six or eight courses. (Four is probably the best call for a pre-theater meal.)
The table: 18. This is the four-top I prefer because it’s centrally located in the dining room but set off in a nook that offers a degree of privacy.
Nearby theater: GableStage at the Biltmore, 1200 Anastasia Ave., Coral Gables.
Playing next week: Casa Valentina by Harvey Fierstein, runs through June 28; $37-$55, gablestage.org.
