Craving a Publix Chicken Tender Sub? Here’s how you can get it delivered to your door
Wondering when Publix’s Chicken Tender Subs will be on sale next?
You won’t have to worry about standing in line for it anymore at the deli counter.
Publix is expanding its delivery and pickup just in time for the Super Bowl, via Instacart, to include “made-to-order” deli meals — including the popular subs.
Instacart already gave customers the option to complete most or all of their grocery list online, including produce, dairy and meat. You could even order beer or your favorite wine for a “Netflix and Chill” kind of night.
Now, with the addition of Instacart Meals, customers can order — and customize — made-to-order meals from the bread to the toppings at the “Digital Deli Counter” just like they would in the store, according to Instacart. You can schedule it for pickup at the counter or have it delivered to your door.
You can even make it a combo.
“When customers add a made-to-order meal to their cart, the Instacart Meals product automatically offers all applicable combo options and discounts, enabling customers to capitalize on deals and savings just as they would in-store,” according to Instacart.
Instacart says the new features will be rolled out to Publix stores across Florida in the coming weeks before eventually becoming available at all Publix locations in the Southeast.
“Our customers will not have to wait in line for our popular Publix subs,” said Publix spokeswoman Maria Brous. “From delivery and pickup in as fast as two hours, to alcohol delivery and now, the deli and subs, we’ve brought our store online with Instacart and made it even easier for our customers to enjoy the food they love with friends and family — just in time for the big game.”
