What is it? Our new Secret Ingredient contest. We’ll show you a photo of a food or ingredient, and you can take a picture of something you’ve made or bought with that item for a chance to win a selection of great cookbooks.

Photos: Send us a photo of a dish that incorporates this week’s Secret Ingredient. Email photos by noon April 27 to ebenn@MiamiHerald.com or tweet them to @MiamiHeraldFood.

Prizes: We’ll publish the best shots in the Miami Herald and give winners a selection of brand-new cookbooks.
