If your impromptu celebration is missing a key ingredient, help is just a click away.
ABC Fine Wine & Spirits has teamed up with Instacart, an on-demand service that delivers groceries and alcohol in as little as an hour. This new partnership allows ABC to offer their third delivery option to the Miami metro area and other areas of the state beginning Thursday. ABC’s items are also available through delivery services Shipt and Drizly.
Instacart customers can view a catalog of items in stock at ABC stores through their app and schedule their purchases to be delivered in an hour or a particular time up to seven days later, to coincide with a special event. At the time of delivery, a customer’s ID is inspected by a personal shopper and scanned into the app to confirm legal drinking age. Instacart typically charges delivery fees starting at $5.99, but through Dec. 31 new customers can receive free deliveries for a month with the code ABCDELIVERS.
“Convenience is everything,” said ABC Fine Wine & Spirits CEO Charles Bailes III. “Everyone has different needs and preferences, and we want to ensure our guests will have an option that is compatible with their lifestyles.”

Earlier this month, the Boston-based delivery app Drizly launched its alcohol delivery service in Miami, powered by ABC. And in September, Shipt and ABC began deliveries in the South Florida area. Instacart also delivers beer, wine and spirits from ABC competitor Total Wine & More in some areas of South Florida. Klink and Minibar have also joined the party, delivering to parts of the metro area.
