Singer shot following Orlando concert; shooter commits suicide

Singer Christina Grimmie, known for participating in NBC’s singing competition ‘The Voice’, is hospitalized after being shot at the Plaza Live venue in Orlando Friday night, police said.

Police said a man approached Grimmie with two guns following the show while she was signing autographs and shot her. Grimmie’s brother reportedly tackled the shooter. The shooter then shot and killed himself.
