Pinecrest police investigate former Gulliver baseball coach
The former baseball coach at Gulliver Preparatory School is being investigated by Pinecrest Police a day after admitting publicly that he sent a sexually explicit video in a text message to his players.
Police on Friday asked for current and former students to come forward if they ever received inappropriate electronic messages from Javy Rodriguez, who coached at the private school for the last five seasons.
Rodriguez was fired Monday. He told the Miami Herald that he accidentally sent the text message and that he immediately apologized.
