Looking to be entertained? Buskerfest is coming to Downtown Miami
Commuting Friday in Downtown Miami may be more entertaining than usual.
That’s because there will be morning rush hour and afternoon musical performances at various train stations as part of the daylong Buskerfest Miami Street Performance Festival.
The festival, in its sixth year, showcases more than 50 local performance groups on Downtown Miami’s streets to promote arts and culture.
The day will begin with Metrorail performances from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Civic Center, Government Center, Brickell, Douglas Road and Dadeland South Stations.
The afternoon commute will be made more lively by performances throughout Downtown Miami from 4 to 7 p.m. at Metromover stations including the Knight Center and the Bayfront Park Station.
The Busker extravaganza will cap off the day at Bayfront Park with several performances from acts including the The Front Yard Theatre Collective.
