A Dade City man was arrested after deputies said he held a knife to a woman and yelled at her to worship the devil.
On June 19, a woman told deputies she was in a truck with Fidel Valle, 33, when Valle became angry and demanded she worship Satan, according to a probable cause affidavit.
When she refused, Valle pulled out a knife and held it against her side and drove her and another person to a "remote boat ramp," according to the affidavit.
After they arrived at the boat ramp, Valle made the other person, identified only as a witness, stand outside the truck while he prayed to Satan and yelled at the woman to worship Satan as well, the affidavit stated.

The woman told deputies Valle allegedly held the knife against her the entire time, and she feared he was going to hurt her. Valle eventually allowed the witness back into the truck and the three of them drove to another location where Valle got out and walked away.
Valle was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
