September 06, 2013 12:44 PM

Lennar, one of South Florida’s top home builders, has announced the opening of its newest community, Sorrento at Venetian Parc, offering Mission-style townhomes and single-family homes. Nestled in the sought-after neighborhood of southwest Kendall, Sorrento at Venetian Parc offers a quiet but central location that’s ideal for today’s families, says a company spokesperson.

Sorrento at Venetian Parc’s two-story townhomes start in the low $200,000s, making a luxurious lifestyle within reach even for first-time buyers, adds the spokesperson. Four home designs offer up to 1,700 square feet of living space with three and four bedrooms. The townhomes come equipped with garages, family rooms separate from formal living areas, convenient breakfast bars, and his-and-hers vanities in the master bath.

Sorrento at Venetian Parc also offers a wide range of single-family and estate homes, including Lennar’s Next-Gen – The Home Within A Home. The beautifully designed homes are sure to wow even the most discerning buyers, says the spokesperson. Starting in the upper $200,000s, the eight distinctive one- and two-story floor plans feature three to five bedrooms and up to 3,000 air-conditioned square feet. Each home features a two- or three-car garage, stylish Mission-style architecture, an abundance of interior features distinctive to each home such as decorative archways and coffer ceilings, full bedroom and bath downstairs (per plan), dual vanities in secondary baths, spacious walk-in closets or master en-suites with his-and-hers vanity, Roman tub and separate shower.

Lennar has also adapted to the changing family dynamic of today with its innovative NextGen – The Home Within A Home design, available in three of the floor plans. The revolutionary homes, which include a private suite with separate entry, bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, laundry and living room area, provide the ultimate solution for any home buyer seeking personal space for live-in relatives or visiting friends. From elderly parents moving in with their families to children returning home after college, the unique homes offer the ideal combination of inclusion and privacy, says the spokesperson.

Each home at Sorrento at Venetian Parc features Lennar’s “Everything’s Included” package. This convenient bundle provides buyers with thousands of dollars in interior features, all included at no additional cost, such as the Nexia home automation system, a remote access system that lets residents control their air conditioning and lights, and even unlock their front door. Some of the other great features included in every Lennar home are deluxe GE stainless steel appliances, oversize 18-inch ceramic tile flooring in the main living areas and kitchen cabinets in a choice of colors.

During the special opening, buyers can take advantage of $10,000 toward closing costs, options and/or upgrades, adds the spokesperson.

To learn more about the community, visit the Welcome Home Center at Garden Estates, at 15492 SW 119th Ter., call 866-315-0502, or visit www.lennar.com/FloridaDeals. The Welcome Home Center is open Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Realtors are welcome.
