Free hair product from the Magic Coupon Machine & understanding CVS ExtraBucks
I'm on my way to the Magic Coupon Machine at CVS! Although it doubles as a "price checking machine", the real deal is that it is a coupon printer! This week, there's a great freebie waiting for everyone with a CVS Extra Care Card ~ a CVS coupon to save $4.99 on a full size Clear hair care product!! With the price of Clear being $4.99, this coupon means that you can get a bottle of shampoo or conditioner for FREE!!
The CVS Extra Care card (available free at CVS stores) is the key to savings, coupons and ExtraBucks at CVS. To get the sale prices shown in the CVS ads, you need to present your Extra Care card (or provide your registered phone number) when checking out. Scan your Extra Care card at the "Magic Coupon Machine" to print out coupons. Little tip - you can scan your card twice each day (in the same store visit) to get 2 different sets of coupons! Plus, if you have any ExtraBucks available, they will also be printed at the Magic Coupon Machine.
ExtraBucks can be used to purchase most items at CVS (excludes alcohol, tobacco, gift certificate, and a few other items). They can be earned in several different ways. Purchasing a specific product may give you an Extrabucks Reward. This week's CVS ad offers a $1.00 ExtraBucks Reward when you purchase one gallon of milk at $3.79. When I pay for the milk, I will receive a $1 ExtraBucks reward on the bottom of my receipt. That $1 ExtraBucks reward can be used in my very next transaction.
You also earn 2% back in ExtraBucks Rewards on your everyday purchases at CVS. These ExtraBucks are given to you quarterly. They can be printed from your computer or sent directly to your Extra Care Card to be redeemed on your next purchase.
Join the free CVS Beauty Club and earn $5 in ExtraBucks for every $50 you purchase in beauty products! This $50 amount is BEFORE coupon savings!! So I might have bought $50 of beauty products, but only actually spent $35 because I had used $15 in manufacturer's coupons. I would still get my $5 in ExtraBucks! When you sign up for the Beauty Club, you will receive a 10% off beauty shopping pass. Plus, on your birthday, you'll receive $3 in ExtraBucks!
The CVS Pharmacy and Health Rewards Club gives you $5 in ExtraBucks when you've earned 10 credits. Get 1 credit when you fill or refill a prescription. Earn 3 credits for a 90-day prescription. Flu shots and other vaccinations give you 1 credit. You can also earn credits for signing up for refill reminders and prescription text alerts and for enrolling in prescription management.
CVS ExtraBucks can add up very quickly and can really help stretch your monthly budget.
