The Herald inside Haiti: Carl Juste

Carl Juste has been a Miami Herald photographer since 1989, where he has covered news around the world, including the Caribbean, Latin America, Iraq and Florida. Carl has a passion for in-depth photojournalism projects, include a recent series documenting Miami’s Central High School and community programs that will suffer funding cuts. Born in Port-a-Prince, Haiti, he was raised in Brooklyn, New York, and is an alumni of the University of Miami.
