What’s cool: Ice cream infused with top-shelf spirits. Boozy pints come in flavors like the dreamy Tangerine Sorbet, spiked with Moët & Chandon Imperial Brut. While you won’t leave buzzed, it’s 21 and up at this sleek ice cream bar.
Must-try: The Highland Truffle, made with Belgian chocolate and two shots of Macallan 12-Year Single Malt Scotch.

2. Dasher & Crank
What’s cool: Chef-driven ice cream, mind-blowing flavors. This is your new mecca for inventive, ever-changing ingredients like bacon from Miami Smokers and Earl Grey from JoJo Tea. The chef previously worked at Zuma, so expect some Japanese undertones.
Must-try: Ube Macapuno, a Filipino treat made of purple yams and coconut jelly. Bonus: It’s fun to say.

3. Cream Parlor
Where: Little River/El Portal.
What’s cool: You dream it — they’ll make it. This is a fantasy land of over-the-top concoctions like the Colossal Brownie Mountain, a warm brownie crowned with heaps of ice cream (we’re partial to Unicorn Poop), edible flowers and butterflies.
Must-try: Purple Rain: raspberry ice cream with raspberry-filled dark-chocolate cups.

4. Frice Cream
What’s cool: A farm-to-table approach to ice cream. Superstar chef couple Alissa and Jeremy Frice moved from Portland, Oregon, to Miami, where they’re using the freshest Florida produce to create custom frozen desserts for top Miami restaurants, food festivals and private events.
Must-try: Blueberry Bronze Fennel Sorbet, starring Florida-grown blueberries and fennel.
5. Lulu’s Nitrogen Ice Cream
What’s cool: Nitrogen-chilled ice cream in made-to-order waffle cones. Choose from flavors like Dulce de Leche or Pistachio, and they’ll flash freeze it and serve it in a warm cone. The milk and cream come from a Florida farm where the owner adopted a cow named Lulu.
Must-try: Goat Cheese Ice Cream with Guava Sauce.

6. MadLab Creamery
Where: Design District.
What’s cool: 30-plus toppings, including edible gold and cotton candy. Kids will lose their minds at chef Soraya Kilgore’s ultra-pink shop in Wynwood, where they can pile on endless toppings and every order gets a spritz of glitter. Purists will delight in real-deal traditional flavors like strawberry, sourced with local fruit from Urban Oasis Project.
Must-try: Chocolate Ice Cream, made with Ecuadorian cacao. All the toppings.
7. Serendipity Creamery
What’s cool: Everything is made in-house. Families flock here for a large selection of dairy and vegan options, kept interesting with rotating local collaborations. Think expresso chip with a jolt of Panther Coffee, or a stout flavor infused with J. Wakefield beer.
Must-try: Butter Pecan, with pecans and candied toffee.

What’s cool: Cuba meets Miami at this Calle Ocho sweet spot. The popular Abuela Maria flavor is what put owner Suzy Batlle’s gem on the map: an ice cream bursting with local guava, cream cheese and crunchy cookies.
Must-try: Café con Leche, which gets a creamy, chocolatey boost from crumbled Oreos.

9. Karmic Ice Cream
What’s cool: Rent a retro truck for an epic ice cream social. A Coral Springs couple had the good karma of procuring a fleet of vintage ice cream trucks, including a 1931 Ford that used to sell Good Humor. Bow-tie clad servers will scoop nostalgic brands of ice cream right in your backyard or outside your office.
Must-try: Chocolate-Covered Vanilla Ice Cream on a Stick.
10. Taiyaki NYC – Miami
What’s cool: Insta-famous for fish-shaped cones. This outpost of the New York sensation churns out rare flavors like black sesame. If you’re feeling “extra,” order the unicorn cone with edible ears, gold horn and sprinkles.
Must-try: Unicorn Float, a lactose-free taro slushie served in a unicorn pool floatie — because, summer.
