POWER UP FOR PATCHES will host its second annual luncheon at the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove

100+ Heartbeat is a not-for-profit foundation dedicated to raising funds on behalf of PATCHES PPEC, a nursing center in Florida City that provides culturally compassionate nursing care and therapies for children in poverty with medically complex conditions. The women of 100+ Heartbeats for PATCHES share their belief that every child has the right to quality medical care, to live free of pain and have the opportunity, despite illness, to learn, grow and thrive.

In 2018 100+ Heartbeats hosted its first fabulous POWER UP FOR PATCHES Luncheon for almost 200 women and raised monies to fund the pulmonary care program at PATCHES. This program ensures an on-site, specially trained respiratory therapist to provide treatment for the many vulnerable children who attend PATCHES with respiratory issues, to manage children with tracheotomies and provide immediate crisis intervention.
