The Super Bowl is here and so are amazing big game bashes to celebrate its arrival
It’s being called Big Game Weekend, but the truth is it starts long before the weekend ever gets here. Consider it a week that rivals Basel—only bigger. The amount of events happening in Miami for Super Bowl week are massive, to put it lightly. Concerts, block parties, tailgates, celebrities, fashion shows—it’s all here. And here are a few you’ll want to go to be a part of all the action.
The XX Chino Launch and Khalid Performance
Wednesday, January 29
You’ll have to know someone on the list to ease into Levis Haus Miami’s concert in Wynwood Wednesday night from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Knowing someone on that list will garner you the chance to see Khalid perform, check out some DJ sets, customize jeans with laser technology, sip smoothies and enjoy popsicles all under the Miami night sky. Levi’s Haus Miami pop-up in Wynwood. 2700 Northwest 2nd Avenue, Miami.

If anyone knows how to throw a party, it’s Pepsi. Be mesmerized as Meridian at Island Gardens on Watson Island is transformed from 65,000 square foot of waterfront paradise into a symphony of neon lights, LED walls, mirrors with projection mapping and more. While your eyes behold the sights, let your ears take in the tunes. Harry Styles. Lizzo. Mark Ronson. And your tastebuds can take in Pepsi Zero in its new can, as well as plenty of cocktails.
AT&T TV Super Saturday Night
Saturday, February 1
Tickets: https://www.ticketmaster.com/super-saturday-night-with-lady-gaga-tickets/artist/2712234
What does one do on Super Bowl eve? See Lady Gaga at Meridian at 8:30 p.m. at Island Gardens on Watson Island, of course. Tickets to this event are pricey, but considering the setting—yachts, the Miami skyline, a waterfront show—it’s well worth the $375 (via Ticketmaster) investment. Plus, it will look great on your Instagram. And it makes up for the time you missed her last Super Bowl performance.
The Players Tailgate
Sunday, February 2

If you’ve ever wondered what a tailgate for the biggest football game in the world is like, this is your chance to check it out. For starters, It’s been called the number one event on Super Bowl Sunday. Chalk that up to the 5-star food, drinks and DJs. Camped just outside the Hard Rock Stadium, the glass structure with decking will house Guy Fieri, Sage Steele, Arron May, Charles Woodson and DJ Irie as they host the event. You’ll also find sportscasters, celebs and NFL players in the mix inside, all celebrating to benefit the NFL Alumni Association and the Irie Foundation.
The Big Game Block Party at Ember in Paradise Plaza
Sunday, February 2
So you didn’t score tickets to the game. That’s OK. You are in the city where it’s all happening, which means there’s plenty of places to catch kick-off. Like Ember in the Miami Design District. The Paradise Plaza Block will host an epic bash from noon to 11 p.m. thanks to Ember and Kilgore Culinary. Expect a big screen, theatre seating ribs, wings, croquettes, chicken, nachos, burgers and libations ranging from shots to champagne (it is Miami, after all).
