If there’s one thing we like more than having a clean house, it’s keeping a clean house without being required to put in a lot of effort. That’s where robot vacuums come in. With the ability to navigate the home on their own, they’re a major step up from the old days of pushing a vacuum around the house by yourself.

But what’s even better than a robot vacuum? How about a robot vacuum-and-mop combo that’s a whopping 50% off thanks to Amazon’s Black Friday sale? Meet the Shark Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo, which not only provides a thorough clean but even empties itself when needed (talk about hands-free convenience!).

The Shark Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo fulfills its primary function of cleaning hard floors and carpets in thorough fashion, using HEPA filtration to trap up to 99.97% of all dust and allergens. It also gives itself an edge over its competitors with what it calls “CleanEdge Detect,” which uses air blasts to remove dirt and debris from edges and corners before pulling it in.

Unlike other robot vacuums that clean in straight lines, the Shark cleans in a matrix grid so no spots are left behind. The vacuum maps your home as it goes, using its built-in 360 LIDAR, so it knows where to go from the get-go. It also senses obstacles (i.e., table legs or pets) and maneuvers around them.

We also mentioned mopping, and the Shark Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo does a great job on hard floors, including wood and tile, scrubbing 100 times per minute to detach dirt and debris. We’re impressed by the cleanliness of the results, with no detergent streaks left behind, and even more impressed by how autonomous the shark vacuum is. With the Shark app, you can set cleaning schedules for your robot vacuum, designate carpet and “no-go” zones if you want the vacuum to avoid certain areas, and leave it to do the rest.

The vacuum will empty itself into the bin that’s part of its base when it’s full; all you have to do is empty the bin every 60 days or so. And when it’s low on power, it’ll return to the base on its own to charge itself.

Cleaning, mopping and emptying dirt without having to lift a finger sounds like heaven to us, and it’s all possible with the Shark robot vacuum and mop. Sweep up these Black Friday savings and treat yourself to one ASAP!
