Coconut Grove Arts Festival reveals official 2015 poster
The Coconut Grove Arts Festival unveiled its poster for the 52nd annual arts festival Thursday night, a bright waterfront scene by esteemed French American painter Duaív.
The artwork, titled “Voilier,” French for “sailboat,” features 13 multi-hued vessels and was created with just a few colors.
“Duaív blends his own fascination of marine imagery with scenes from that of Miami’s own famous harbor in Biscayne Bay,” festival representatives said in a press release. “[The] image encompasses Duaív’s signature uplifting and bright style with one of Coconut Grove’s most emblematic icons.”
The Coconut Grove Arts Festival will be held Feb. 14-16. Admission is $15 for the general public, $5 for Coconut Grove residents and free for children 12 and under. Visit www.cgaf.com for more information.
