Experience Pérez Art Museum Miami for free
Museum admissions are pretty affordable already, but the Pérez Art Museum Miami has several ways for you to access its sleek, bayside museum for free. On the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., children and adults can visit the museum, take a tour and participate in hands-on activities. On the first Thursday of each month, thanks to the support of the Knight Foundation and two other foundations, everyone is admitted free from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Military personnel and their families can visit PAMM free through Labor Day. And though not free, a special South Florida Adventure Pass ($40 for kids, $50 for adults, $10 off for PAMM members) gets unlimited admission through Sept. 30 to the museum, Everglades Alligator Farm, Flamingo Gardens, Jungle Island, the Frost Museum of Science, Sawgrass Recreation Park and the Young at Art Museum. The Pérez Art Museum Miami is at 1103 Biscayne Blvd. Call 305-375-3000 or visit www.pamm.org.
