Arsht Center to do Florida premiere ‘Cirkopolis’ by Cirque Éloize

The Arsht Center announced the Florida premiere of Cirkopolis as its marquee presentation for summer 2016. The critically acclaimed Montreal-based circus troupe Cirque Éloize, directed by Jeannot Painchaud, will debut at the Ziff Ballet Opera House July 7. Tickets range from $49 to $89 and go on sale Feb. 8. In this production, Cirque Éloize takes a blend of circus arts, theater and dance to a highly stylized metropolitan setting, where 11 acrobats and multidisciplinary artists rebel against monotony, reinvent themselves and challenge the limits of the “factory-city.” Tickets may be purchased through the Adrienne Arsht Center Box Office, 305-949-6722 or www.arshtcenter.org.
