“Science Up Close: Creating the Next Century of Music,” presented by the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science, is a discussion about how musicians are breaking ground with new technologies and changing the landscape of the industry.

Frost School of Music professor Colby Leider, Ph.D. will lead the event at 7 p.m. Jan. 21 at the University of Miami’s Henry Fillmore Band Hall, 5501 San Amaro Dr., Coral Gables.
