Introducing kids to live orchestral music is fun, easy and free thanks to “Spooky Symphony,” a multimedia family Halloween event sponsored by The Children’s Trust. At 4 p.m. Oct. 25, the Greater Miami Youth Symphony and the Alhambra Orchestra will play together at the Arsht Center’s Knight Concert Hall, 1300 Biscayne Blvd., Miami. On the bill are selections from Jurassic Park, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Batman: The Dark Knight and Wicked, along with classical pieces.

Kids are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes, and admission is free beginning an hour before the concert. There’s also free parking in Lot C with a parking voucher. For information, call 305-667-4069 or visit www.gmysmusic.org or www.alhambramusic.org.
