Zun Zún children’s arts fest brings Hispanic music, theater to Miami
FUNDarte, Zunzún Arts & Education, Fundación Cuatrogatos and the Miami-Dade County Auditorium are presenting Zun Zún Children Fest, a celebration of Hispanic-Latino culture in the United States. The festival features workshops, conferences and school performances, culminating in a gala day Oct. 3 from 2 to 7 p.m. at the auditorium, 2901 W. Flagler St.
Gala performances include Rumba Flora with Rita Rosa Ruesga at 2:30 p.m., Spanish musician Jordi Tonietti and his musical group performing Como te lo canto, como te lo cuento (As I Sing It, So I Tell It) at 3:30 p.m., and the Cuban company Teatro de las Estaciones presenting El patico feo (The Ugly Duckling) at 4:30 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults, $5 for children under 12.
