Catch eight short plays in Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach for $5 off

City Theatre’s Summer Shorts has come and gone, but that simply means it’s time for Shorts Gone Wild 3, a collection of adult, LGBT-themed short plays co-produced by City Theatre and Fort Lauderdale’s Island City Stage. The plays (seven of them, plus a blast from the past) will run Aug. 6 through Sept. 6 at Empire Stage, 1140 N. Flagler Drive, Fort Lauderdale, then move south for a Sept. 10-13 run at the Fillmore Miami Beach, 1700 Washington Ave. If you buy a ticket before Aug. 1, you get $5 off the $30 price. Performances at both venues are 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, 5 p.m. Sunday.
