It’s the season for summer camp, but here’s a deal on summer camp of a different variety. Fort Lauderdale’s Empire Stage is presenting the world premiere comedy Reflection of Evil: Die, Sister Twin, Die! by Stacey Bean. Starring Brooks Braselman as twins named Ann and Bettie, the play is inspired by the 1946 Bette David-Glenn Ford “evil twin” movie A Stolen Life. Janet Weakley, Erin Pittleman and David R. Gordon are also in the cast.

Tickets are $30, but if you buy right away and use the discount code EARLY, you can save $8 per ticket at Smarttix. The play runs through Aug. 2, with performances at 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, 5 and 8 p.m. Sunday (no late show the first Sunday). Empire Stage is at 1140 N. Flagler Dr., Fort Lauderdale. And to sweeten the deal even more, you get free beer and wine with admission. For information, call 954-678-1496 or visit www.empirestage.com. To get the discount, visit the theater section at www.smarttix.com or call 212-868-4444.
