The show will go on for “Hamilton” at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami and “Mean Girls” at the Broward Center.

At least, for now.

Both performing arts centers do not have immediate plans of canceling the popular Broadway Across America shows amid the COVID-19 pandemic. “Hamilton,” Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Pulitzer Prize-winning show, ends its four-week run Sunday. “Mean Girls,” written by Tina Fey, also ends its run Sunday.

“We continue to be in daily communication with local officials during this rapidly changing situation,” the Broward Center said in a statement. “Our senior management team is also holding daily meetings and prepared to adjust operations based on the best information available at the time.”

But the growing concerns about the spread of the coronavirus have impacted other cultural events at venues across South Florida.

The remainder of the 37th Miami Film Festival, which began March 6 and was set to run through Sunday, has been canceled.

“Under the advice of the Governor of Florida, Miami Dade College is canceling all special events including the remaining public screenings of the Miami Film Festival,” organizers said on its website. Anyone with tickets will receive an email with information about the canceled screenings.

Jazz in the Gardens, the popular two-day music festival at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, which was to start Saturday and was to feature big-name artists such as Mary J. Blige, The Roots and Ludacris, has been postponed, Miami Gardens Mayor Oliver Gilbert announced early Thursday.

The Women’s Impact Luncheon and Opening Night Party were also postponed.

The Louis Armstrong musical, “A Wonderful World,” which was to open Saturday night and run through April 5 at Miami New Drama/Colony Theatre in Miami Beach, will end its run after Thursday and Friday’s previews.

“Under directive of the City of Miami Beach, all performances at the Colony Theatre will be postponed beginning March 14th, for an initial period of 45 days,” the theater said in a letter to patrons.

Tickets will be honored at performances to be rescheduled at a later date.

Museums including the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science and the Pérez Art Museum Miami will remain open until further notice.
