Catch tomorrow’s stars now at Miami’s annual YoungArts Week. Tickets only cost $15
In years to come, you may see them on the Big Screen — like Kerry Washington; on Broadway — like Tony Yazbeck; on a concert stage — like Josh Groban. In a museum — like Teresita Fernandez and Daniel Arsham. Or perhaps one of the 2020 YoungArts winners will be like actress, Viola Davis, winner of an Oscar, Tony and Emmy!
The first week in January brings the opportunity to see performances by leading national artists poised for leadership — but for now, still negotiating high school. National YoungArts Week brings 150 young artists to Miami for comraderie, performances and master classes with such luminaries as jazz trumpeter / composer Terence Blanchard, choreographer Reggie Wilson, filmmaker Doug Blush and actor B.D. Wong.
Performances throughout the week are open to the public; tickets cost $15. Unless otherwise noted, all performance are at the New World Center, 500 17th Street, Miami Beach. Tickets at .youngarts.org/national-youngarts-week.
