The restaurant: Verde at Pérez Art Museum Miami, 1103 Biscayne Blvd., Miami. Chef Kaytlin Brakefield executes Verde’s light, fresh soups, salads, sandwiches, pizza and more — all perfect noshes before a Sunday matinee or before a Thursday-night show. Verde is open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday and Friday-Sunday and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday.

The table: 48. Partially hidden behind a column in the northeast corner of the bistro, this table is particularly discreet, making it favorable for intimate conversation. Table 48 is where former PAMM director Thom Collins and interim director Leann Standish take their meals.

Nearby theater: Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, 1300 Biscayne Blvd, Miami.

Playing this week: Zoetic Stage’s Betrayal plays May 14-31 at the Carnival Studio Theater at the Arsht Center; $45.
