Beenie Man, Sizzla performing at Memorial Day weekend’s Best of the Best

It’s Memorial Day weekend in Miami, and for fans of dancehall and soca music it means time to raise your flag — and wave.

There is no shortage of reggae shows in South Florida, but the biggest gathering of Caribbean performers is, of course, Best of the Best Music Fest, and it is returning Sunday to a new stage in downtown Miami at Maurice A. Ferré Park, formerly Museum Park.

Organizers say the move from Bayfront Park, where the long-running show was held, marks a new chapter for the festival.

This year’s lineup features a mix of established icons and emerging acts, including Sizzla Kalonji, Beenie Man, and Capleton, alongside 450, Tifa and KKrytical. Additional performers include Skeng, Shaneil Muir, Vanessa Bling, Rajah Wild and Kraff Gad.

This year marks the festivals 19th year, and like last year’s show that returned a two-year hiatus, organizers are benefitting from Jamaican artists being able to secure U.S. visas to travel and perform. That is helping to give a resurgence of dancehall.

Still, with its family-friendly atmosphere, Best of the Best has never been solely about reggae and dancehall. Soca artists have increasingly been making their mark at the event with festival goers who come from across the Caribbean.

This year, soca star Voice — who had Carnival crowds jumping and waving throughout the 2026 circuit — will make his festival debut.
