Ludacris, GloRilla among headliners for Jazz in the Gardens. How to get tickets
From R&B and jazz to gospel and rap, those attending Miami Gardens’ premier event Jazz in the Gardens can expect a little bit of everything.
The festival, now in its 19th year, announced early Friday a star-studded lineup that includes headliners Jhene Aiko, Ludacris and a set from Nelly and Ashanti. This year’s lineup continues a trend of including genres beyond jazz: last year’s lineup was heavy on dancehall and rap acts, and prior years welcomed neosoul artists.
Rising rap star GloRilla and a DJ set from D-Nice and Friends are also on this year’s lineup along with a bevy of R&B acts from singers Ella Mai and Mya —the latter recently made appearances on the Brandy and Monica co-headlining tour “The Boy Is Mine” — to crooners Joe and Case, and R&B veterans SWV.
The festival isn’t completely departing from jazz as saxophonist Boney James and violinist Damien Escobar are also set to perform.
Grammy-nominated gospel recording artist and public speaker Pastor Mike Jr. will also perform. Additional acts are expected to be announced at a later date, and the full lineup can be found at Jazz in the Gardens’ website.
