Feb. 14: Arsht Gospel Choir Invitational - Choirs from all backgrounds compete for a cash grand prize and the opportunity to perform at Gospel Fest Miami. The Invitational will showcase the top choirs from 3 categories: church, community and collegiate. Arsht.

Feb. 15: Juan Diego Flórez in Recital - Superstar Peruvian tenor, crowned “the King of the High Cs” by no less than Luciano Pavarotti, performs operatic hits as well as songs in Spanish. Arsht.

Oct. 19: Concerto Night: Miami International Piano Festival opens its new season with three acclaimed pianists conducted by Igor Gruppman. The program features Dmitry Ablogin performing Chopin Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor, Op. 21, Ilya Itin performing Beethoven Concerto No. 4 in G Major, Op. 58 and Alexander Gavrylyuk performing Grieg Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 16. Nov. 16: Miami International Piano Festival Presents: Russian pianist Dmitry Ablogin. Polish pianist and composer Piotr Anderszewski regards Ablogin as “an authentic individual voice in music making. He is a musician of integrity and unusually high sensitivity.” Aventura.

March 7: Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida: Program III Ballet Dr. Ouch! Based on the children’s poems of Kornei Chukovsky, this whimsical story follows a kind doctor who journeys to Africa to help sick monkeys. Choreographed by Vladimir Issaev with music by Morozov, Lecoque and Kabalevsky. Aventura.

March 22: Miami International Piano Festival Presents a Two Piano Jazz Encounter with Bill Charlap & Brandon Goldberg. Aventura.

May 3: Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida: Program IV Spring Ballet Gala.
