DVDs: The deluxe treatment for The Fisher King

In stores Tuesday:

The Fisher King (DVD/Blu-ray): Terry Gilliam’s 1991 fantasy-drama, about a suicidal DJ (Jeff Bridges) who befriends a homeless man (Robin Williams), gets the deluxe Criterion Collection treatment with a treasure chest of extras.

The Island of Dr. Moreau (Blu-ray): The 1977 version of H.G. Wells’ classic novel about a man (Michael York) who stumbles onto an island where a mad scientist (Burt Lancaster) is conducting strange experiments makes its high-def debut.

Dog Soldiers (Blu-ray): The 2002 debut of director Neil Marshall (The Descent, Doomsday, TV’s Game of Thrones and Hannibal) pits a group of soldiers against a pack of monsters in rural Scotland.

Thrashin’ (Blu-ray): Josh Brolin and Robert Rusler star in this 1980s-era guilty pleasure that reimagines Romeo & Juliet as a war between rival skateboard gangs (yes, there used to be such a thing).
