No charges against former ‘Power Rangers’ star
NO CHARGES
Prosecutors have declined to file charges against a former Power Rangers actor arrested in the stabbing death of his housemate in Southern California. The L.A. County district attorney’s office said that prosecutors have asked sheriff’s investigators to further probe the weekend death of Joshua Sutter. Deputies arrested Ricardo Medina Saturday. Authorities said he stabbed Sutter in the abdomen with a sword, then called 911. A probe found that the actor (who played the Red Ranger) got into a fight with his housemate, who later forced open the door of Medina’s bedroom.
ROAD TROUBLE
A former child star on the ’90s sitcom Moesha was arrested in Arizona on suspicion of drunken driving and possession of marijuana. Marcus Paulk, 28, was pulled over early Super Bowl Sunday morning in Scottsdale after driving dangerously close to a fire truck and two police cars stopped on the side of the road with emergency lights flashing. He smelled of alcohol and had a bag of pot in his pocket, the arresting deputy reported. Paulk, who lives in California, admitted to smoking pot earlier Sunday and drinking cognac. Bail was set at $2,000, and Paulk, who played Brandy’s kid brother on the show, was released.
