Soccer star Ronaldinho Gaúcho was seen kicking back Monday at Rockwell, ordering bottles of Cristal, Hennessy, and Don Julio. Tyson Beckford was also seen there enjoying the evening alongside the club owner’s table.
The ever present Beckford also hosted the unofficial Miami Swim Week kickoff party Tuesday at Wall. Surrounded by friends including DJ Reach, Beckford enjoyed shots and specialty cocktails by Dobel Tequila as he got the crowd hyped on the mic and posed for pics.
Colombian reggaeton singer J Balvin was seen Monday at Seaspice, where he had an intimate dinner with friends to celebrate the success of his new chart-topping album “Energia.” Also dining in the restaurant were Marcus Gilbert of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys’ newest player, Ezekiel Elliott, who respectfully asked not to be photographed.
Those who love “The Voice” and miss “American Idol” may want to head to the Eden Roc Miami Beach, 4525 Collins Ave., at 7 p.m. Saturday for the first of a new supersonic series, “Paired Affair,” a free live music event with performances by “Idol” alumnae and Miami native Karen Rodriguez and Jax, and Julio Castillo from “The Voice.” The evening will feature one-of-a-kind musical collaborations of modern fan favorites and classic showstoppers stripped down and rearranged for an evening under the stars. The series will continue throughout the summer with shows on Aug. 6 by “Idol” alum Matt Giraud and champ Candice Glover, and on Aug. 20 with “Idol” country heartthrobs Casey James and Tim Urban.
