Need a little excitement in your life?

Say oui to C’est Rouge.

Described as a “sensual and seductive revue that takes you to a fantasyland of beauty, mystery and desire,” the show has taken up residence at the intimate 150-seat cabaret-style Faena Theater inside the Faena Hotel Miami Beach Friday and Saturday nights.

We’re thinking this thing has got “date night” written all over it.

International choreographer Blanca Li — who has worked with Paul McCartney, Kanye West and Beyonce as well as the Metropolitan Opera — is the brains behind the operation.

The native Spaniard believes that the right casting was the most important element in making sure all the pieces fit together of the show that’s part strip tease meets acrobatic cabaret.

“I wanted to have great artists from Miami,” says Li. “Once the casting was done, we started to work on each act, trying to bring out the best of each performer. It took us two months, but I now have a fantastic creative team around me.”

Li, who splits her time between Paris and NYC, has been enjoying her time spent in Miami.

“I like the sand and the sea, and the energy they bring to the city,” she says. “I like the mix of cultures and the fact that people from all over the world can meet there.”

The dancer, who has studied with Martha Graham and Alvin Ailey, still keeps limber at age 52.

“My routine has always been a classical barre. I need to always be in good shape, because with my work I not only have to show people how to move but move myself.”
