Jason Derulo sings country, unveils ‘dopest’ wax figure
Pop singer Jason Derulo: a little bit country?
Believe it. The singer teamed up with country star Luke Bryan for an episode of CMT Crossroads (airing 10 p.m. Saturday).
Coincidentally, the same day, Derulo will be in the flesh at the iHeartRadio Summer Pool Party at the Fontainebleau. But we don’t think the Talk Dirty singer has got country songs on his playlist.
The Miami native has a lot going on.
The So You Think You Can Dance judge met his wax double this week at Madame Tussaud’s Hollywood and struck a pose side-by-side with the figure. Following the unveiling, Derulo gave a special performance for his fans on the rooftop of the attraction.
He thanked the museum for the “dopest” wax figure.

Proud? Yes.
“This place is a staple in Hollywood. When you’re walking or driving down Hollywood Boulevard, this is one of the places you have to come. It’s literally a legendary place, so to be a part of that family is such a blessing,” said Derulo, who is also set to perform during the 2016 Copa América opening ceremony June 3 in Santa Clara, California..
