UP IN THE AIR

Controversy seems to surround Chris Brown like, hmm, a waft of smoke.

The R&B singer responded to a TMZ report that said that he and his squad were kicked off a private jet at the Signature VIP terminal at MIA Monday after the pilot smelled pot.

The police report obtained by The New York Daily News says Brown was headed to the Cannes Film Festival in France via Bermuda.

“I see something on TMZ about how we got escorted off a plane,” the entertainer posted on Instagram Wednesday. “Well, how the h--l we in Cannes if we got escorted off a plane?” The site said cops did arrive and tell them to hightail it off the craft, but no arrests were made.

Brown was in town to host a launch party for the “WizPak,” a “Smart” backpack with headphones, at the Bella Fortuna Estate in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday.
