Evelyn Lozada’s heartbreaking baby news
LIFE GOES ON
First for the good news: Evelyn Lozada’s OWN docuseries, Livin’ Lozada, returns for an all new season at 10 p.m. Saturday.
The sad news: The 40-year-old experienced a family tragedy a few months back. “I miscarried on Thanksgiving Day,” the 40-year-old told Life & Style. “I was like, this cannot be happening again.”

Viewers saw Lozada suffer the same fate last season.
The former Basketball Wives star — who counts Antoine Walker and Chad Ochocinco among her famous exes — has a 2-year-old son with her baseball player fiancé, L.A. Dodgers player Carl Crawford. As per her Instagram, the little kid seems to have inherited his dad’s athletic genes.
And she’s determined to try again: “I love being a mom,” says Lozada, who also has a 23-year-old daughter, Shaniece Hairston, who appears on the show. “After two miscarriages, it makes me want to be a mom even more.”
Lozada, who used to own Dolce shoe boutique in Coral Gables, has had a tough time with relationships.
Her fans will recall back in the summer of 2012, her husband of one month, former Miami Dolphins star Ochocinco was arrested and accused of head-butting her. He was subsequently cut from the team and their reality show Ev and Ocho was axed.
The ex football player pled no contest to domestic battery and was sentenced to one year probation.
