Kate Upton shows off engagement ring at Met Gala

Will they get married in the Sunshine State? Kate Upton is engaged. The lucky groom-to-be is baseball hunk Justin Verlander.

The Melbourne, Florida-raised model showed up at the Met Gala in NYC Monday night with a massive engagement ring, designed by her fiancé, a starting pitcher for the Detroit Tigers.

The Sports Illustrated cutie showed off a little of her primping routine on Instagram before the big night began.

Are they the real deal? Maybe. The two have been dating for three years, which is a pretty long time by Hollywood standards.

Upton and Verlander have been seen around South Florida often, dining at Joe’s Stone Crab and working out at Barry’s Bootcamp.

We could think of a few wedding venues for the happy couple.
