Andy Samberg at Latin Billboards in Miami: I speak Spanish
SAY WHAT?
Some attendees of the Billboard Latin Music Awards as well as viewers at home were a little surprised to see Saturday Night Live alum Andy Samberg at the BankUnited Center Thursday night. The appearance wasn’t exactly random, though: The comedian-actor presented at the Spanish-language ceremony to promote his upcoming mockumentary, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, in which he plays Conner4Real, an obnoxious, on-the-rise Justin Bieber type.
Slight issue: Samberg no habla español.
“Don’t worry. I called my old Spanish teacher and she was kind enough to write me something so that I wouldn’t embarrass myself,” he joked in English to laughs. Then, taking out a piece of paper, Samberg read its contents, translated as: “I am a spoiled ‘gringuito.’ I never took my Spanish classes seriously at school . . . but please don’t get mad at me because I’m super dumb.”

He later posed with Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima, who wrote: “I found the only gringo.”

Lima, who presented Latin Pop Album of the Year, was wearing a ravishing black dress and had just appeared at the VS store on Lincoln Road store hours before. She was discussing the relaunch of one of the brand’s most popular fragrances, Bombshell.
A new limited eidtion bottle for Mother’s Day is adorned with Swarovski crsyals.
“It’s so feminine and elegant,” said Lima, who lives in Miami Beach. “It’s something I apply day or night. I carry it everywhere. It’s very discreet. It’s something that makes you feel confident and beautiful.”
Impresivo!
