Rising star on ‘Little Big Shots’ with Steve Harvey

Look out, world! Miami-based fourth-grader Brandon Goldberg, aka “The Little Piano Man,” will be on on Sunday night’s episode of NBC Little Big Shots, starting at 8 p.m. The series, executive produced by Ellen DeGeneres and Steve Harvey (who also hosts), is, phew, not a competition, just a fun, family-friendly variety show featuring talented kids from all over the world.

And Harvey hasn’t made one mistake a la the Miss Universe pageant.

According to Brandon’s Facebook page, the 10-year-old phenom loves to compose his own music and play covers by such musical greats as Tony Bennett (whom he met during the jazz icon’s concert at the Broward Center last month), Frank Sinatra and the Big Piano Man himself, Billy Joel.

He even paid tribute to Joel when he was just 7. Awww.
